The Edinburgh Student Law Review was the first of its kind in Scotland. Managed and written entirely by students, it aims to provide a forum for law students of The University of Edinburgh to engage with current legal issues and debates.

Submissions are accepted on any legal topic. Submissions which are in some way related to Scots law or Scottish legal culture are especially welcomed. Unfortunately we can only accept submissions which we have the expertise to review. However, please do submit your piece first. We shall thereafter inform you of whether we have the necessary expertise to review.

We encourage students of all levels and backgrounds to submit articles, case notes and updates. Please see the Submissions section for more information.

All issues of the Edinburgh Student Law Review are available in the Past Issues section of this website.

If you have any further enquiries please contact the Editor in Chief at edinburghslr at gmail dot com.

We are very grateful to our Sponsors and The University of Edinburgh Law School for making past publications of the Review possible. If you are interested in sponsoring future issues, please do get in touch.

We are also grateful to our Honorary President, Lord Hope of Craighead, our Honorary Secretary, Dr Andrew Steven and the School of Law for their support for the Review.
